In 2017, Changi Airport celebrated a key milestone, serving 60 million passengers from close to 100 countries around the world. Incheon International Airport is the largest airport in South Korea and one of the busiest airports in the world. It is a former winner of the Airport of the Year title at the World Airport Awards.

3. TOKYO INT'L AIRPORT HANEDA
Boasting both domestic and international terminals, Tokyo International Airport Haneda plays a very important role in furthering Japan’s development as a tourism-oriented nation.
Haneda Airport was vited the World's Cleanest Airport and the World Best Domestic Airport in 2018.
4. HONG KONG INT'L AIRPORT
Hong Kong International Airport serves over 100 airlines operating flights to about 180 locations worldwide, including 44 destinations on the Chinese Mainland. It is a former, multiple winner of the Airport of the Year title at the World Airport Awards.
Hong Kong International Airport was vitred the World's Besty Transit Airport and also the Best Airport for Dining.
5. HAMAD INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT DOHA
Hamad International Airport is the international airport for Doha, capital city of Qatar. The existing terminal can accommodate up to 30 million passengers annually, and has been described as the most architecturally significant terminal complex in the world, as well as being the most luxurious.
Hamad International Airport was vited the Best Airport in the Middle East 2018.
6. MUNICH AIRPORT
Munich Airport is the second busiest airport in Germany and the secondary hub for Lufthansa German Airlines. Munich Airport has connections to destinations all over the world, but much more besides. With over 150 retail stores and some 50 places where you can eat and drink, it’s like a city center, offering travelers and visitors plenty to see and do.
Munich was named the Best Airport in Europe for 2018.
7. CENTRAL JAPAN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
In 2014, 9.8 million passengers travelled through Central Japan International Airport in Nagoya, better known as Centrair. The airport has a large domestic traffic percentage, with a number of regional routes operated to Asiana cities such as Bangkok and Singapore. Longer haul routes include Helsinki, Frankfurt, Honolulu and Detroit.
Centrair was named the World's Best Regional Airport in 2018.
8. LONDON HEATHROW AIRPORT
London Heathrow Airport is the busiest airport in the UK and busiest airport in Europe by passenger traffic, and having been world’s busiest airport for international passengers, it has recently lost this title to Dubai Airport.
In 2018, Heathrow Terminal 2 was voted the World's Best Airport Terminal.
9. ZURICH AIRPORT
Zürich Airport is the largest international airport of Switzerland and is the principal hub for Swiss International Air Lines.
10. FRANKFURT AIRPORT
Serving 98 airlines and 250 destinations in 105 different countries, Frankfurt Airport is the base of Lufthansa. It is the largest airport in Germany and third biggest in Europe. Frankfurt Airport has a direct connection to the European high-speed network of German Rail. Construction of a third passenger terminal is in the process of planning.

The Skytrax World Airport Awards are voted for by air travellers in the largest, annual global airport customer satisfaction survey. The survey is operated as an independent study, with no entry fees or charges to any airport, and the Awards ceremony is also provided to winning airports at no cost. The 2018 Awards are based on 13.73 million airport survey questionnaires completed by over 100 different nationalities of airline customers during the survey period. The survey operated from August 2017 to February 2018, covering 550 airports worldwide and evaluating traveller experiences across different airport service and product key performance indicators - from check-in, arrivals, transfers, shopping, security and immigration through to departure at the gate.
